“Art Bazaar is showcasing art , craft & creativity… through different products on display . The exhibition is a melting pot of creative endeavors of varied artists, fashion designers and creators of handicrafts. The exhibition also promotes the idea and importance of using naturally and organically made products to protect our environment.”
Said Priya Jagat, Curator of ART BAZAAR & Owner, The Vanity Box
‘Art Bazaar’ is also trying to popularize craftswomen and bring into limelight art which is dying or fading away. In keeping with this motive ‘Sab Tera’ foundation has put up a stall. The foundation empowers women from underprivileged communities living in villages near Chandigarh. It is working towards reviving dying art forms with a hope of rebuilding a community of craftswomen, who can pass these skills to their future generations; thus, keeping the craft alive.
